Super Solids

The twin stars had Earth's Best Whole Grain Rice Cereal the first week they started solids. The second week they had sweet potato. Third week, they had banana. Last week was carrots, and this week is peas. We also gave banana with rice cereal in the mornings this week, which they really seemed to love. Next week, they'll be starting their first squash. The week after will be pears for a minimum of four days, then apples, winter squash, and avocados. After those first foods, then I'll need to see what else they can start eating at 9-10 months old. We've been introducing one new food every 4-7 days. They seem to be taking well to the solid feedings so far with no signs of allergies, thank goodness. Anyway, still hard to believe they're only four months or less from being a year old!

By the way, we no longer will be doing the Little Saints program with our soon-to-be preschooler but have looked into the program that Catholic Heritage Curricula has. We like that it's structured, "thoroughly Catholic," and just works with our schedule.
